The largest in Australia, and one of the largest of its kind in the world, the structure features a huge video wall, with a 9.5 metre interactive touch LED display screen. Centech teamed up with Panotek in order to supply customised software and hardware solutions, enabling quick sharing of laptop/tablet screens, at the touch of a button. In addition, a Crestron AirMedia wireless presentation system was installed.
Ensuring the requirements for the Control Room were met with high standards, Centech spent numerous hours liaising with both Panotek and Toll. The integrity of the wall was likewise a crucial element, so the weight of each panel was supplied to the builder in order to develop a reinforced wall.
Toll’s IT team were fully engaged, providing access to websites needed for the Control Room solution, thus creating remote access to servers and providing off-site software upgrades and maintenance.
With access to the latest data and digital technology, the Control Room allows Toll to view and respond to any safety or operational issue across the country – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
This project is a testament to the cutting-edge solutions in which Centech Group are able to deliver.
